The resolution is not 0.01 mm, but 0.001 mm and the degree of protection is IP67.
Usually, for cost reasons, only a circuit board material with a meander structure is etched (located under the plastic film and looks like two interlocked combs) and serves as the basis for signal generation. In our case, it’s different: To stabilize the signal and improve accuracy, our calipers have a glass scale integrated.

- Further improved accuracy. According to DIN standards, a caliper of this length can have an error of 0.03mm. Our previous versions were already better than the DIN with an error of 0.02mm, and we have further improved it to 0.01mm
